Are there any ethical Issues when the Mayor allgedly had film and TV crews at his home, received monetary benefits, preferential treatment, facilitation, or influence through City staff, economic development resources, or contacts that ordinary residents would not receive?

When I first announced I was running for city council, a release of my candidacy was printed in the BayToday newsletter. Beneath my release, in the comment section, one of BayToday's readers left me a list of questoins.
